I hate to re-iterate this point -but title IX and Nafta are 2 programs whose affect were not immediately felt . With the way each is construed-thus applied - our way of life will never be the same .
This is a terrible blow to all college sports -when I lived in Glendale it seemed there was a major tournament within driving distance every other week -mainly because of the sunkist kids and Bobby Douglass .
I am no fan of Michael Moore but his book -''DUDE .WHERE'S MY COUNTRY''-comes to mind .
Another bad thing today -one of the few women athletes I respect is retiring -Annika Sorenstram announced she will retire later this year .
Who the hell will be my favorite team now. The sad thing is, I convinced one of my wrestlers to attend ASU instead of Penn State for a chance to walk on. Maybe Aaron Simpson knew what he was doing leaving. For ASU to cut one of its most successful sports is crazy, why not cut women's Basket Ball they have only had one good season .
Well, I'd like to express my deep sadness to ASU wrestlers and fans. Such good folks from a such a great tradition will be welcome anywhere that wrestling is still hanging on.

Does anyone have any links to pictures of ASU and Oregon wrestlers? I'm working on sumthin' sumthin' for one of the blogs, and am going to protest ASU in the best manner I know how.
robles will be picked up soon...any university would be lucky to have him for his wrestling skills alone...not to mention his story and how he could be utilized to bring attention to our sport.
