Super 32 Challenge - October 26-27, 2013
"Good things happen when you wrestle for a full seven minutes." -- Jayson Ness, post-finals press conference
I'd say you're running with it.
Like PSU, U Iowa runs the sports camps including the Brands - Gable Wrestling camp. I'm sure they paid a hefty stipend for running the camp but no where near what Sanderson was raking in without the university tie-in. Besides, it's the Tom and Dan show, not Tom, Dan and Terry. The Hawkeye Club is entirely different.
1) Is Terry holding out for a Sanderson quality deal?
2) Does Terry know what the issues are that drove Sanderson away?
Bottom line, both Brands bleed black and gold. I don't Terry has the heart to coach against the black and gold from within the same state.
By going to ISU he splits the recruiting opportunities for UI. Recruiting from Oklahoma focuses on an entirely different talent pool.
Life's not the breaths you take, the breathing in and out that gets you through the day ain't what it's all about. It's the moments that take your breath away.
Loyalty to your alma mater is going to stop you from taking one of the best positions in all of wrestling?
I could understand loyalty to brother, not wanting to undercut him, but that does not seem to be the Brands' style.
Honestly, can you EVEN imagine the yelling, jumping, armwaving and finger pointing that would go on at IU/ISU meets if there was a TB in each corner. MIndboggling!!!! Who would watch the wrestling???
The Art of living is more like wrestling than dancing.
