Aleksandr Karelin

There was a picture of him on his website bending nails with his fingers! He could throw 300lb men over his head. I don't know about you but
that's pretty damn strong.

Ed Banach.....as a Cyclone, it pains me to say it. With the exception of that bad match with Mark Schultz when he got 2nd, he seemed to be able to power his way out of anything. He had a motor too.

if he could figure out how to use his strength, he'd be a monster . . . but he hasn't yet and something tells me he probably never will. speaking of buckeyes though, bergman is strong as an ox. unbelievable.

I'd have to say that I agree with Dan Hodge. My high school coach wrestled at Mich St. And he'd tell the story of wrestle off's to face Hodge. People would lose on purpose, bcause of his strength.

#2/3 Joe dubuque and Brock Lesnar.........as big as he was, I still think that he was pound for pound the strongest I've ever seen. I was at the Iowa match when Wes Hand put him on his back and beat him.......that was the most explosive getting off of one's back I've ever seen. I think that he could have bench pressed Hand if he's wanted to stay on his back

I remeber being told about Hand putting Lesnar on his back and beating him. I always wanted to see the match. You don't have it on video do you?

In Schalles's book about wrestling under the picture of Hodge was this quote from one of his opponents.

"In the first two periods I thought I was gonna die.... In the third I was afraid I wouldnt"
