What happened to JD Bergman at Senior Nationals?

He said he was just warming up at the qualifier and that he could beat everyone. Then it said he was injured.

Bergman finished his day with a quarterfinal win over veteran Nate Patrick of the Sunkist Kids, 3-0, 5-1. Like his other matches, Bergman got his offense going well, including a number of exposure points.

“I felt pretty good,” said Bergman. “It feels good to wrestle here, compared to at heavyweight. It feels good to be able to wrestle again. It is just getting warmed up today. I use a lot more of my tools at 96 kg.”

Like his college peers, Bergman did not come to Las Vegas just to get experience. He has higher goals.

“I plan on trying to win it. If I wrestle well, I can beat anybody at 96 kg,” said Bergman.

vaisforlovers: show some respect. the kid has to have acl surgery. besides, the plan was for the 2012 olympics anyway ~ he knew this time was a long shot.

I think the point is that Cormier is at another level than Bergman, no disrespect in that.

Cormier is on a different planet than Bergman. It is called planet Bringsville and Bergman is not invited.

Too bad Bringsville's border and his domination of 211.5 ends at the US border.

that was a joke.....before people get too upset

I just wish he'd get the monkey off of his back and make the finals at a world level event.

Cormier has been the best guy is the US for many years but until the last world championship he had no medals to show for it.
