Re: Is it safe to assume Dustin Fox will never wrestle internationally?
I read that Konrad Was planning on making it through the next Olympic cycle. His weight is nowhere near what Fox is. At least thats what it appears to be.
Ban, Konrad appears to be focusing on Greco as well. He did make the finals of the Freestyle nationals last year. So while he may not have competed much internationally, he certainly has competed here in the States at least last season. I think the transition to Greco, He won JR nats in that style but a long time ago, is harder than one might like it to be at this level.
Gopher, I seem to remember Fox being a very good freestyle and Greco Roman wrestler. I know he won Fargo Jr. Freestyle Once and he might have won Greco twice. I think his style would be very nicely suited to the current rule set. I'd be very surprised if he'd ever make 264. He may never have been 264 in his life.

He won a University World Bronze medal in freestyle a few years ago and I believe he also owns a win over Alexis Rodriguez as well. So he has had some success on the freestyle stage in recent years. I think he can be successful at whichever style he choses to focus on.

No doubt about the success. I've just wondered about the cut to 264. Konrad's a BIG guy.

Nah, Fox isn't any good...
He won two state titles in High School. One Greco title at Fargo, one Freestyle title at Fargo, and that little tournament just a little while back.
He may never wrestle on the international level; but anyone care to bet he will be one heck of lot richer than anyone who posts on this site?
Dustin is a big man - he did cut weight to get to 285.
And yes, I've seen him wrestle at 264 - his Junior year of High School - he was on the team with my son.
I don't understand the venom towards the guy. If any of you ever met him, talked with him; or spent any time with Dustin your opinion would change.
