I've never particularly been a Penn State fan. I've often been rather unimpressed by them. THis year changed that for a number of reasons.
Something that has always bothered me about the Nittany Lions has been why was Nathan Galloway always perceived as an under acheiver. I always recall such high expectations from him and I was always confused why people were disappointed or surprised when he never All American'd.
It is simply amazing how he takes Trent Paulson to School. THe announcers are talking about how Paulson is the #1 seed and has walked through the tourney. He runs into Galloway and it looks like Galloway isn't even trying. I couldn't believe it.
This isn't intended to put a kid down, and I deffinitley hope its the right person I'm thinking about. Assuming it is, anyone else who ever wonder the same things I wondered check this out.
Moos Vs. Valenti.....I wouldn't exactly call it a nail biter, but if you don't watch the last two seconds, you miss the entire match. Its facinating in this day and age of multi-media, to go back and see Champions from the last few years in Highschool.
edit: I don't know why all that code is there in the post....if anyone can help, please do.
Re: Mystery that has been perplexing.....SOLVED!!!
A little eerie in the Galloway video to hear the announcers talking about how excited the Penn State fans must be, knowing how it all turns out. Interestingly, the losers in the match had 6 AA finishes and 3 NCAA championships between them, while the winners had 0. Wow.

Looks like the ref was unfamiliar with "funk" and wasn't sure how to make the call. Check out Valenti expression as the period ends: "Are you kidding me?!"
I love the foreshadowing of how these guys will develop their game in college. Thanks for the links!
