"Gophers wrestler Tyler Safratowich, who won the 70 kg (154.25 pounds) freestyle at the University Nationals on Sunday in Akron, Ohio, will be wrestling at 157 pounds next season. Zach Sanders, who finished second at 55 kg (121 pounds) freestyle in the same meet, will wrestle at 125 pounds next year now that Jayson Ness will be moving to 133. Gopher assistant wrestling coach Marty Morgan said Ness now weighs 146 pounds after wrestling at 125 for two years." From the Star Tribune.

That's good news for Charlie. It seems he can beat anyone at 125 except Jayson. Ness Vs Slaton will be awsome if it happens. Sanders will be tough but some on the other MN site act like he is gonna be a four time AA. It will be fun to see just how good Sanders is. There has def been alot of hype surrounding him.

Not that Sanders might be a 4 time All American, not that sanders will be tough, but that there is another MN site.

I thought this was the ONLY MN site on the web.

I think its definitely within Zach Sanders ability to be a 4x AA. I am not going to guarantee it but he has all of the ability to get to Nationals and from there I think the advantage goes to some of the guys who aren't pulling too much weight. I think Zach Sanders falls in this category as he just made 121.5 for Senior Nationals.

There should be alot of movement out of 125 in the Big Ten and after Escobedo, Falck and Ness I think the quality drops off a little bit to where Sanders can certainly compete.

Charlie Falck better not under estimate Sanders. He's tough and as slick as anybody on his feet.
