I doubt he can make the weight with one hour weigh ins all year. Dennis would probably be the guy trying to supplant Slaton. Tsirtsis will battle it out with LeClere for the 41 spot.
Good problems to have at Iowa! Tsirtis IMO is better than LeClere(unless some major improvements happen this off season) so i think he'll just stay at 141 and be stronger. It makes Iowa better if he's there.
I think LeClere is better most of the time. Just i think sometimes he makes those little mistakes that cost him big.
Either way though, Tsirtis or LeClere, 41 won't be bad
A few things...First of all let me preface this with the fact that I think Sanders is a stud and will be tough to beat these next 4 years, and I believe he will AA 4x...However..If you think those guys that he destroyed in that video were anywhere close to collegiate level wrestlers you are mistaken. Those moves will not work with such ease on Charlie Falck, Escobedo and others...On Ness v. Slaton...IF(and this could be a big if) Slaton starts next year, i think it's a tough match up for Ness...But I think they could go back and forth...Slaton might be a bit too physical, and I don't think Ness will ride him or anyone as well as he rode people at 125 this year.
He just placed 2nd at university nationals last month in Freestyle at 121. I live about 10 miles from Zach Sanders's highschool and the kid is a freak of nature. He also has a brother who wrestles for NDSU and he was also a 5-timer. So if your counting Zach out you don't know Zach.

That is a great accomplishment..but it's not like the top notch kids at 125 were there...and it's freestyle...I'm not doubting he's talented...you missed my point..I'm saying if you think he's gonna come in and do what he did in those videos i'd say you're wrong..and if you think he'll make the finals i think you're wrong...top 5 finish would be a great year for him in my opinion.
Actually, AA would be great accomplishment for Zach Sanders. I think we were spoiled with Ness coming in and having such great success but even AA'ing in this weight class for Sanders will be a difficult yet achievable goal for him.
Add in to the mix that I could see Ness, Dustin and Safratowich AA'ing and that's not a bad starting five. Of course I said that last year too and see what happened?
