I personally love Kansas City, and it can be hosted by Mizzou, Nebraska or the Big 12... sounds great to me!

Plus, I could use some good Gates.

NJ has new arena going up in the Meadowlands. Plenty of hotels under $150 and it's only a 10 minute cab ride into the city for pleasurizing. Surely you folks need an occasional visit into Gotham.

I'll settle for once every 5 out here on the East coast. At least we Phily in the near future.

Lots of skywalks, plenty of hotels, lots of cheap or free parking. Unfortunately, they have to remove some of the seats at Wells Fargo to accommodate 8 mats, and there's not a ton to do, and the airport isn't huge. I guess everyone could come to Ames to party every night.
Des Moines would be great but, apparently Wells Fargo is too small by a couple of thousand.

Olympic Trials at Indy was a good setup, all the hotels were connected to the stadium so you didn't even have to walk outside!

Terp, didn't see you out there. I did run into Neil A., though.
In DC people would have some options. If they wanted to save some money on hotel rooms they could stay at a suburban hotel and take Metro in. And frankly I don't think the rooms would be a whole lot more than they were in St. Louis.

When I got back from the disaster in Detroit I checked with Debbie Yow to see if we were putting together a bid next time around. I know they've been discussing the financials with Verizon Center in the past. Should be a no brainer for them to bring 18,000 people downtown for 4 or 5 days in March!

Are you planning on having young kids sometime soon?
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

No, but lots of people bring kids to the tournament.
