Yet the freshman champ Dustin would have been described as an offense first wrestler. A lot can change over a year or two...

I remember after Dustin won his title I immediately said to myself and even posted it on thematforums that Dustin wasn't going to lose another match. I kind of have that feeling about Metcalf now

Ignore that feeling, or you'll be wrong again. I still say that he and a healthy DS split their matches.

I'm not ready to say he won't lose again...but he's only going to get better..He has to stay healthy though..and that is extremely difficult..especially given his style.

Dustin had a much better chance at losing another match after winning it, because he doesn't score a lot of points.

I don't think people are giving Bubba jenkins enough credit on how incredible that guy is on his feet. I don't see Metcalf losing to anyone that is currently wrestling in the NCAA.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

Dustin did score a lot of points his freshman year, but his soph year the rest of the 149s slowed the match down and tried to wrestle him close. It obviously worked with Gillespie, and with Roberts this year. That being said, it is only because DS allowed it to happen. We've seen that Metcalf will not relax and slow down after a TD like DS seemed to do, which makes an upset that much less likely.

As far as no one in the NCAA's now beating him, an injured DS wrestled him to a 5-3 match that he won in the last 20 seconds, and Palmer had a 3-2 match with him. I don't know that I'd bet against him, but to say you don't see anyone who could beat him is a stretch IMO.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

    I agree.

It's hard to believe Cael Sanderson never got injured.
