Indeed, but we've also had a very large influx of new posters registering. New posters who don't know whats expected here as of yet.

That was more for them, than for the old crowd.

if youtube wasn't blocked on this computer I'd try to find a clip of Barney Fife: "nip it in the bud! nip it! nip it!"

I thought Jenkins wrestled very well against Metcalf. After the first period I knew Metcalf would score more points on Jenkins, but I was in shock after the first period. I didn't see him wrestle his way to the finals, but I knew the opponents he beat to get there and the scores of each match.

Saying Metcalf is not an athlete is very odd. Of course he is a great athlete. He doesn't appear as athletic as Poeta, GG, Caldwell, Leen, or even Jenkins, but he gets the job done through hard work and his desire to win. I'm sure Bubba really wanted to win, but I would bet Metcalf wanted to win even more and had trained himself better during the year with conditioning etc.

I interpreted what Jenkins said after the match as him keeping a positive note on his performance, letting Metcalf know he isn't afraid of him, and that he will beat him in the future possibly. That's what I got from it anyhow.

They both wanted it. I don't really think any of us can say who wanted it more, but we all know who got it and that is the most important fact of the arguement. They are both sophomores. If they want to determine who wants it more then it is 1-0 Metcalf. Best of 3.

Is there a video of Metcalf pinning Jenkins? I'd like to see that.

You would think that Penn State would have "handlers" who would have coached Jenkins on how to give an interview. He's a fine wrestler but that was an embarassing series of answers.

When you have very little oxygen left your brain doesn't work to well for interviews. I thought Bubba was starting to get winded by the middle of the second, and Brent does not get winded. Seems like he goes even harder in the third period than anyone else.

I think that is a common misconception about Metcalf, of course he gets winded. It just takes him a little longer. If you saw his interview afterwards he was breathing hard. Metcalf just doesn't give into fatigue like some others, Bubba is a prime example. Metcalf just pushes through, where a lot of others give into fatigue. JMO. Bubba just needs to memorize some good old boring answers.. I'm disappointed....He's a heck of a competitor....I am going to go back and work harder.
