Ness had his chance. Nickerson will be back next year to beat on him. Henson knows that too.

Where will Nickerson come back at, 141? Have you seen him lately? He looks like he has been hanging out at the Pizza Hut with you the last 18 months.

I guess it all depends on where Nickerson comes back. Ness is going 133. Heard it from a pretty good source. Gonna bulk up a little bit and do some off season lifting so he have formidable strength at that weight. I don't think its the cut so much as being a good teammate. I also think he thinks his chances at 133 are just as good as at 125.

In the meantime, is Henson staying in Cal?

I think both Nickerson and Ness will be at 33 next year. Both of need to hit the weight room. I dont think either one of them is a big 25 pounder.

Back on topic: Henson to Minnesota doesn't seem like a good fit. Idk if Jrob would want to bring him in for only a yr (Based off Henson's track record, that's how long he would stay)

Couldn't agree with you more in regards to his track record and J Rob's style but you can't argue with Henson's results.

Thats funny. I see a lot about his track record in quotes, so i actually met him at this years NCAA's and while talking I asked him about it?
After listening to his thoughts, its all made sense.
As An Assistant you move around a bit,till you find a place to stay. You also learn, I think 10x what someone learns form just staying at the same place all their safe little lives. Why doesnt any one ever look at head coaches that cant keep an assistant? People dont leave jobs or programs, they leave people! Also with being pulled in various directions with USA wrestling needing someone to place now and then. I think he was getting pulled over the last few years by them as well.
Sounds like He is helping Cal Poly while working to a Head Coaching job. He stated that was all discussed up front with head coach.
So every one gets out of it what they need.

The guy seems great.
He knows what his goals are and is working on those.
