Goferfan...I agree with many of yours!

Question though, what is Metcalf's tattoo? I kept trying to get a look at it but couldn't...something to do with Chase?

I think the tat says "family first" in script, but I have never been able to get a clear look at the image. It almost looks like a flag. Is it maybe a flag with a picture of Chase?

While I am not entirely sure, it appears to be a family crest (guessing of course) with the cursive words "Family" on top and "First" on bottom. Again, I am going off of the TV so I am not pretending to know if that is the actual tatoo.

Regardless, after what his family went through I have the utmost respect for the meaning if that is the case.

Metcalf and Perry winning individual titles.

Jaggers seeminglyh getting wrecked with a heel hook

JD Bergman's Ah-Nold impression (but he was ROBBED of his NCAA title).

Mack Reiter winning his final match.

Matt Fields making AA with a switch in the last few seconds.

Matt Fields winning his final match.

Noticing that Metcalf was one of the smaller 149's, and he just didn't seem to care.

    Borschel giving Gavin a run.

    Phil Davis.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

"Family" on top and "First" on bottom. That's a consensus, but couldn't tell what is in the middle.

3 Navy and 1 Army A-A, you have to admire anyone with scholarship potential, yet opting for an academy.

Escobedo, Mendes, Gavin, Michalak, proving once again, you don't need to go to a wrestling mill to find success.

Mark McKnight finishing 4th after never meeting expectations since his transfer to PSU.

    Phil Davis.

Josh Churella finishing 3rd after I had picked him to be the odd man out and DNP in the most wicked weight class in a long long time.

Coleman Scott throwing some water in the gas of the Iowa machinery.

Mike Grey finishing 6th after I dissed him all season.

Anthony Robles making it the round of 12. You know the entire house will be rooting for him again next year no matter who he wrestles.

I gotta say the 184 lbs. match - I could have SWORN that Varner was taking it, but wrong was I ever - this happened to be the first match that I've ever seen that went for such a period of time. The final overtime had me HOOKED to the TV, anxiously waiting to see as to who's the better "rider". Certainly great stuff there.

Jordan Leen winning - representing NY, which is always lovely to see a wrestler from NY bringing home a championship. Great match-up by both men.

Hearing the fact that Davis loves to sew - but then again, in reality, don't we all have our little secrets? Additionally, I found it funny how about six or five seconds before the third period came to a close, the guy just raised his arms up in victory while Michalak attempted to continue on wrestling by going for his legs, but despite that, even with Michalak getting a hold of his legs, Davis then again raised his arms up. Good stuff there.

Escobedo's performance, despite his shoulder injury and for a great opening match-up of the finals, as well as for Jaggers.

And last but not least (may be forgetting some), Scott's ever-so-dominating performance after a quick, under-a-minute pin on Slaton. The aftermath was certainly a sight to behold; truly emotional stuff.

Once again, congratulations to all the champions!

This was your favorite moment? I guess it is different down there in Iowa.

Just giving you a hard time.
