My Mood: | Re: NCAA's Day 3: Match Ups/Results/Discussion You know what is amazing? That Minnesota lost quite a few duals this year and I wrote alot of it up to injuries etc, however, most of the teams that beat them in duals this year are the teams that will finish ahead of them at Nationals.
That being said, I guess the pollsters do know what they are doing from time to time.

My Mood: | Re: NCAA's Day 3: Match Ups/Results/Discussion Here’s how I see the second place race
ISU:
133: Fanthorpe over Baker +1
141: Morgan over Gallick +0
141: Gallick over Kyler +1
157: Sanderson over Moley +1
165: Dwyer over Reader +0
184: Varner over Pucillo +4
197: Askren over Bertolino +0
285: Zabriskie over Rosholt +3.5
285: Prendergast over Rosholt +0
Total +10.5
OSU:
141: Jaggers over Mendes +4 (don’t think he’ll win but one of the finalists will)
149: Schlatter over Palmer +0
184: Varner over Pucillo +0
285: Fox over Bergman +0
Total +4
PSU:
125: Falck over McKnight +0
125: Gardner over McKnight +0
149: Metcalf over Jenkins +0
157: Vallimont over Becker +3.5
157: Gillespie over Vallimont +0
197: Davis over Michalek +4
Total +7.5
ISU: 78.5
OSU: 75
PSU: 70.5
Of course if Palmer sticks Schlatter again, it will be real tight

Don't know whether it's odd or not, but 3 of the 4 Big X v Big X finals matches are Big X finals rematches.

I think it will all come down to Varner v. Pucillo. Winner's team takes 2nd IMO.

| Re: NCAA's Day 3: Match Ups/Results/Discussion I had some consi semi's wrong, they've now been corrected. I don't know why some brackets have the losers from the semi's just drop down, while others cross them. Thats where I got switched up. |

My Mood: | Re: NCAA's Day 3: Match Ups/Results/Discussion 7 # 1's in the Finals, that's impressive consistency at the top.
I like Iowa's draw, I think they may be able to lock the tournament early tomorrow...
