157-Leen, Poeta
165-Tannenbaum, Perry
174-Gaven, Luke

197-Glenn, Davis
HWT-Fox, Bergman
In all reallity there are no locks at this point. Should be some great matches, I just hope they splitscreen every weight.

Falck vs. Ness I think Falck, being shorter, will keep out of the riding problems others have had. Ness v Donahoe is a toss up, picked my favorite there. 133 #1 Franklin Gomez v. #4 Joey Slaton, #3 Coleman Scott v. #2 Jimmy Kennedy
Gomez vs. Scott... Cant have too many Iowa guys in the finals... 141 #1 Chad Mendes v. #4 Nathan Morgan, #6 J Jaggers v. #2 Charles Griffin
Mendes vs. Griffin 149 #1 Brent Metcalf v. #4 Jordan Burroughs, #6 Bubba Jenkins v. #7 Darrion Caldwell Metcalf vs. Caldwell... Jenkins vs. Caldwell should be a blast 157 #8 Jordan Leen v. #12 Josh Zupancic, #3 Dan Vallimont v. #2 Mike Poeta
Zupancic (why not?) vs. Poeta 165 #1 Eric Tannenbaum v. #4 Mack Lewnes, #3 Nick Marable v. #2 Mark Perry
Tannenbaum vs Perry
174 #1 Keith Gavin v. #4 Jay Borschel, #3 Brandon Browne v. #2 Steve Luke
Gavin vs. Luke
184 #1 Jake Varner v. #4 Christian Sinnott, #6 Raymond Jordan v. #2 Mike Pucillo
Varner vs. Jordan
197 #1 Josh Glenn v. #4 Wynn Michalak, #6 Dallas Herbst v. #2 Phil Davis
Glenn vs. Davis.. although Herbst could be an interesting finalist, and the token WI guy in the finals this year too.
285 #1 Dustin Fox v. #5 Jared Rosholt, #3 Ed Prendergast v. #2 JD Bergman
Fox vs. Bergman | | |

Fox vs. Bergman |
Pucillo has beaten Jordan by at least 5 the last 3 times they wrestled. I can't see any way Jordan beats him here.

Semifinals
125: I predicted 3 of 4 Semifinalists, missing only Donahoe, who I had being upset by Gabe FLores. My Finals pick of Falck and Ness remains alive.
133: Got 2 right, 2 wrong. My Finals pick (and champion) are out, but I have Slaton beating Gomez. Therefore, I'll stick with that and have Slaton vs. Scott (although I'll point out that Mike Grey, my pick from this side, lost in SV, so I was close...)
141: 3 out of 4 again, but it was a big miss on picking Corey Jantzen to make a run. I had him beating Griffen. However, my finals pick of Morgan vs. Jaggers is still alive, and I'm sticking with it.
149: Bad weight for me. Only got 1 right, Metcalf. One Semifinalist went 1-2, and the other two lost in quarters. I'll go with Metcalf vs. Caldwell.
157: Second straight bad weight for me. 2 out of 4, but there was a slight miswrite, where I had CP over Becker in the Semi's, when obviously it had to happen in the Quarters. SInce I had predicted Leen over Gillesipie explicitly, I think it's clear I meant CP vs. Leen in the Semi's...however, I had CP winning, which he didn't, over Poeta. I'll stick with Poeta to beat Jordan Leen for his title.
165: Great weight for me, all 4 Semifinalists. I'll stick with Tannenbaum vs. Perry.
174: Good weight, 2 out of 4 Semifinalists. I had Gavin vs. Stolpinski, I'll take Luke, the guy who beat Stolpinski, to be the guy who loses to Gavin...but I hope Borshel pulls the upset.
184: 3 out of 4 for me. Missed on Weitzel, but got Jordan, a # 6 seed. I'll stick with my live Finals pick of Pucillo vs. Varner...but I'm pulling for Jordan.
197: 3 out of 4 AGAIN, missing on Askren (who lost by a point). I'll take Glenn and Davis.
HWT: 2 out of 4, missing on Fields and Massey. My FInals pick is live, though, and I'll stick with it.
Overall, I hit on 25 Semifinalists out of 40, which is pretty good.

I don't see c twin winning either, but I would love if we can get one cmu guy in the finials.. and hopefully 4 all americans | | |

I want Ness to win the Hodge, but I also like Donahoe style and especially where he is from (Davison). I'm going to pick Donahoe on this one. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
