I have been sitting here in one part shock and one part expecting this. This season has been a tough one and while it is easy to use the (justified) injury excuse...MN didn't earn it today. Other teams like Iowa definitely have, though it is hard to respect that performance when their coaching staff acts life ferrets on crystal meth (blatently ripped off movie line, I know). WE GET IT, YOU'RE FIERY AND EMOTIONAL! YOU PLAY BY YOUR OWN SET OF RULES. WE GET IT!
Gable was all of those things and still garnered respect because of his knowing that it wasn't done out of disrespect or for personal acknowledgment. Just my opinion and realize that it pains me to say, but kudos to the Hawkeye wrestlers for their performance.
Here we go Ness, here we go! |
What a bummer. Two years ago, I could not have imagined that this tournament would look like this for the Gophers. Let's hope that Ness can beat Donahoe again and that Reiter, Rivera, Dustin, and Kish can gut out some wins in the consolations.
