    Nothing would be more exciting than metcalf v. schlatter? I disagree. Metcalf v. Caldwell would be WAY more exciting. I don't see Caldwell beating Schlatter. But my gosh...Darrion Caldwell..he is nothing if not exciting. Schlatters great, but the word "exciting" has never come to mind.

    The thing about Caldwell is, while his matches are extremely exciting, you don't know how long the excitement will last, because more often than not he will pin or be pinned. Sorry to state the obvious a little.

    I think Schlatter Metcalf would be more exciting personally, given their history and calibres.

    your underestimating Caldwell, he is a 3 time new jersey state champ coming out of high school, had a round of 12 last season. he beat o connor this season already, and so far in the ncaa championships he has only been on the mat for a little over 3 minutes.. give him some credit

    The thing about this matchup is that it is quite possible that Caldwell will take an early lead, which is going to throw Schlatter off since he cannot just get ahead and stall out the match. Also, Caldwell is fresh from two quick pins, and Schlatter has wrestled two full matches. I think many things are in the favor of Caldwell.

    Schlatter has been down in way more than 4 matches in his college career and yet he only has 4 loses, it's also quite possible that Schlatter will take an early lead. I really don't think the quick pins vs 2 full matches will be a factor when they wrestle the next day. Schlatter knows how to win close matches. I'm just giving you a different perspective.

    Caldwell is a beast, a man on a mission... always comes to wrestle when it matters.. whether it is las vegas, or ncaas... he picks the best time to wrestle his best.. Caldwell will win the NCAA tournament
