Thread: Spam Emails

  1. #1

    Videos Spam Emails

So I get this email from USA Wrestling News entitled "Wrestling... training for the rest of your life!" in my club account just a little bit ago. Note that this account has only been used as a place for my club emails to go when I sign the club up and everything. I have NEVER done any type of signing up for stuff with this account or used this account in any other way.

So I open this email thinking it would be from maybe USA Wrestling or something halfway important.

Nope, its a Ken Chertow spam email.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.

So what you are saying is that USA Wrestling is giving/selling their email lists to Chertow?

The email address is up on the ISWA(Indiana State Wrestling Association) site, but it is no where else.

being on one website... that's all it takes. that office is full of student worker-bees that gather email addresses from every wrestling website in existence.

He will also take the names off of emails that other people send. I have a friend who sent out an email partly to his wrestling people, partly to his friends and family. Chertow was copied on the email. A week later, my friend's brother was getting the Chertow emails!

I think it is taken from TheMat.com and sold... I had that happen for sure a couple years ago. I know around 4 other people, one of which is me, that only used a fake email / spam email to join themat.com, and they send this all of the time...

It is actually against the law, Chertow could go to jail for the way he sends these out. (Its part of the Can SPAM act created by Bill Clinton in the late 90's) One guy got like 9 years in jail from this.

Lets turn him in. I'm sick of the Wal-Mart of wrestling!
