While I agree Saf laid an egg I don't think anyone would have had a second thought had Kinser stayed home. He won one match the entire tourney and that was against a weak opponent in Lang. The other one was by default.
The NCAA selection committee just screwed the Gophers on seeding.

Lang = Returning National FInalist from a weight down = Not a weak opponent.

He's weak at 149 that's why he was the 7 seed at B10's. As people have pointed out what you did last year doesn't weigh into what he's done (or hasn't done) this year.

And who did Saf beat at Big 10's?

Manuel and Marella. Like I said he laid an egg. But with that said he beat two top 10 guys this year and was a round of 12er last year. He deserved a shot.

I agree with Trusty. Why wasn't Glasser wrestling 165 anyway? He beat Safratowich every time they wrestled from what I understand. How does that decision get made? I feel bad for Tyler but maybe it's justice for Glasser not getting the spot he deserved.

Ryan Lang is a weak opponent? Now I've heard everything...

I like the fact that Saf said it was his responsibility to qualify. He's right, but Kinser is not going to score points at the Nat. tourney. He had really done nothing all year that is why he was unseeded at the Big Tens. He won one match there against Lang, who made a lot of poor decisions during the tourney. I can't remember how many times he put himself on his back.

With that said the one I feel the worst for is Wheatley of OSU. He was dominating Bronson from MN and pinned himself. He is the one who should have gotten the wild card. (Not Saf or Kinser)

    Overtime:
Lang maybe should have talked to Dustin to learn how to win some of the close matches, like he joked about in the FloWrestling Video.
Oh, I hope he is healthy for nationals, because he was injured when wrestling Metcalf.
He should have stayed at 41. Then maybe he would stand a chance this weekend.
