There are very few D1 teams from the Moutain time zone. Wyoming, ASU, AFA, UNC, Boise State.... and that's it, I believe.

Now I know that we've analyzed everything about this tourney. We've broken it down by time zone.

We could break the tournament down by mascots, a la the new ESPN commercial. "Does a tree beat a Hoya?"

What exactly is a Hoya?

And if it's the mascots going against eachother, Ohio State is SCREWED.

The word Hoya comes from a chant that Georgetown students would yell in the late 19th century: Hoya Saxa, which means "What Rocks." They were called the Stonewalls in those days, so it made more sense. Another random Georgetown fact: they changed their colors to blue and gray after the Civil War to promote unity.

By the way, I have a friend who fills out a hoops bracket every year according to which mascot would win in a fight. I'm pretty confident in my Tigers' ability.

Now I'm disappointed the UC Irvine Anteaters didn't make it.

I dunno. I wouldn't feel so confident if I were a tiger facing a Trojan, or a dude with a sledge hammer and a train.

Bring it. We'll eat your face off. Now a cyclone might make me worry, but a Cowboy, a Sooner, a cornhusker! Done and done. And the boilermaker is stuck on a train track. All the tiger has to do is get out of the way.
