That being said Tommy's guys are loyal. He must be doing something right.

Cyclone, I can't say I disagree with your post.

Gofer, you don't have to agree with me even though I'm right.

PS. I didn't even mention the "punch" that Reiter threw at Slaton.

Edit my previous post. People are jealous of Tom Brands keen fashion sense, he's cutting edge.
That wasn't a punch. If that was a punch Slaton wouldn't have been able to wrestle at NCAA's.

Loyalty is huge. Brand's brought the pride back and guys want to be associated with it again. That's cool.

You are right, Brands DOES have a keen fashion sense. That ken doll hair cut with the goody comb part is something else.

I was thinking more about the tennis shoes with the suit.

I've thought about that but I think he had just plain given up, and headed for the concession stand. Ironically the guy that got me started in wrestling took his place mat side and HE was the one that stayed for the rest of the match whether I won or lost. That's a coach.

ROFL. That's classic. His posse shops at Marshall's.

Quite honestly, and I mean no disrespect here, I didn't give two shits about what my coaches in the corner were saying to me. I wrestled my way. If they wanted to coach me they could coach me all day in the wrestling room but once I hit the mat they were of no help to me. If my coach had walked away, (as they usually do at tournaments) it wouldn't have bothered me.

I went to three highschools in four years so I am not sure any coach had enough time to know my strengths or weaknesses better than I did. Now, had my coach been in my corner with a suit and tennis shoes, I may have looked over just to to get a chuckle.

Isn't that the classic "homeless" look?

The wrestler is the one that wins the match not the coaches. Some of has have good coaches and some have bad. I had a coach that cared more about eating little debbies on the way home from practice then improving his wrestlers. Our team was great because we worked hard and wanted to win for ourselves not for our coaches. I thought in High School/College you look to your coach as an example?
