Thread: Who was that Big Ten Wrestler?

Sunny Day! Who was that Big Ten Wrestler?

I've been wondering this for awhile:

Who was that Big Ten Wrestler (I believe in 2003) who, when in neutral position would always place one knee on the mat. I think he wrestled in the Big Ten finals that year and lost in overtime.

If anybody cares to answer that would be appreciated.

You're probably thinking of Nick Simmons. Joe Dubuque would do it too, but usually just when he wrestled Kyle Ott, Simmons did it all the time.

Yeah, Simmons comes to mind as well. He'd get in that three point stance then jump up and grab a front head lock. It was the funniest thing to me.

I noticed Tyler McCormick doing it this weekend, and I've seen Troy Nickerson do it, too.
