How about that Metcalf-Schlatter match!? Very exciting, came down to the last second. Schlatter showed he can take Metcalf down, but he needs to be more agressive if he's going to beat Metcalf. He also showed heart as he was a little dinged up. Metcalf obviously showed he can beat Schlatter (something that's been doubted), that he can take Schlatter down (something also doubted), and that he can do the whole thing wrestling HIS style and not stalling out like a lot of Schlatter's opponents do. What a match.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

Sounded like a battle, Dustin sounds like he needs to try and take advantage of some reshot opportunities of Metcalf's numerous halfshots rather than just trying to rely on his short offense.

Metcalf scored a big advantage when he was able to get away from Dustin really quick after the takedown, and after he chose bottom.

I'd probably have more to say if I'd seen the video.

Very good match, as expected. DS scored early off his nice little slide by with Metcalf pushing, but 1 TD obviously isn't enough.

Metcalf kind of got taken out of his match for a bit with the few minutes of injury break.

The 1/2 shots of Metcalf was just to earn the 1 pt. stalling with DS in "D" mode and taking no shots.

Awesome match that could go either way every time out.

One thing I noticed was DS tried to use Metcalf's aggressiveness against him. The first slide by for the take down was great but DS was not effective in the top position. DS tried this move a few more times but Metcalf was able to stay out of trouble. I thought that Metcalf's pressure did start to wear on DS by the end of the match but he gave Metcalf one heck of a match. The match up we have been waiting for certainly did not disappoint. Here's to the rematch in St. Louis.

I'm amazed at how injury-free Metcalf has remained at his pace.

It was a great match but it was Metcalf's pace that won it. Schlatter was a step behind.

It was all the match I expected, well fought. I think if Dustin changes his tactics and fights like Metcalf the whole 7 minutes, he wins. But, that's not Dustin.

I thought the TD by Metcalf in the last minutes was a spin-behind off of one of Schlatter's failed shots?...Or did Metcalf initiate the hole TD? Was listening but everything was coming in so fast.

    It was spin behind.
