He spun behind off a front headlock. Metcalf created the flurry.

Is that really how it happened? I thought it was off a DS shot but now I'm not really sure?

when Chertow interviewed Brent afterwards they went over it. Brent said that he was trying to create a scramble situation. I would have to see the replay. I think Brent took a shot, DS reshot and then Brent grabbed the head and spun behind. I'm sure it will be up soon enough on youtube.

I just watched the match again, and I'm pretty convinced that Schlatter injured his knee again, in the second. At the end of period 1, it was 2-1 Schlatter, and he wasn't gimping around at any point. The injury happened about five seconds into the second period, right after Metcalf escaped. Right after that, Metcalf went after his right knee at the edge of the mat, and Schlatter grimaced and limped back to the center.

Twenty-two seconds in the third, the ref called a potentially dangerous when Metcalf was in on a single, and Schlatter's knee got twisted again.

Either Schlatter's knee isn't totally healed, or he injured it again.

By the way, Metcalf scored the final takedown on a spin. Schlatter took a shot, but it was about the only shot he took in the entire third period. He had just gotten hit with his second stall call, which had given Metcalf a point.

Gold posted an article in the other thread saying that Dustin rolled an ankle, nothing to do with the knee. Which is good.
