Freshman of the Year: Kellen Russell
Wrestler of the Year: Brent Metcalf
OW: Brent Metcalf (Maybe Escobedo, beating the #1, and #2. They seem to hesitate giving both awards to the same guy)
Coach of the Year: Tom Brands
Wild Cards: Mark McKnight, Tyler Safratowich

    Total Attendance: 19,891

Kudos to Iowa rallying today to take it home after their awful session last night.

Should be a fun one in St. Louis in two weeks, hopefully everyone on every team can manage to get healthy, and me and Schlottke can get the servers healthy so you all can be on here uninterrupted all weekend.

I've got work I need to do now since basically all I've done all weekend is follow the tournament, so I really don't want to have to come back in here and find all kinds of anger and indignation all up in the threads.

So, to all. Please try and keep the taunting from getting excessive, and responses to taunting from getting too heated.

Sweet and MN sends all 10 let's hope E1 is healthy by then. If healthy we give Iowa a run for their money. I see Ness taking it all but Escobedo is one tough mother.
The NCAA selection committee just screwed the Gophers on seeding.

Ness has some work ahead of him. He only rode Escobedo for two seconds, and Escobedo rode the hell out of him.

Just asking why Saf gets a WC? 65 was not very deep.

Well you can certainly enlighten us on who you'd give it to, if not Saf...

I'd have to look at the final top 8 spots at each weight. But I'd pass on an 8th placer @65.

Well you can commence your jumping for joy, as he didn't get one according to the Gopher press release he was named the first alternate.

The only other person I could think of looking at the eighth place finishers is Kinser, maybe his upset of Lang got it for him.

    Jumping for joy?
Just don't think he deserves it. That's all. And I agree that Kinser is a better choice, especially wrestling in a mini NCAA's @49.
