Yup. We'd sure hate for him to leave Maryland but the mark of a strong program is one that produces head coaches elsewhere. That attracts good assistants anyway (see Lehigh).
Todd has great experience in heading up our fundraising at Maryland, working in the room, he's well organized, has done great things in outreach to the local wrestling community. This in addition to the previously mentioned experiences. And he was the continuity for the program during last year's coaching changes.
It was sort of a "duh" moment when I realized what a strong resume he has as a volunteer assistant, etc, at Nebraska, Penn State and Navy before his five years at Maryland.
