I've told the story a million times before - that match, coming on the heels of the McIlravy/Abbas match almost gave me a heart attack - and we were sitting in the middle of the Steiner entourage.

You're welcome, I have lots more to be added, just adding a few at a time as I get the chance.

On the Steiner-Sunderland match -- I was talking to John Fritz last week, former Penn St coach, and told him to go check out some of those videos, since I have a lot of PSU ones. I had to warn him that the Steiner-Sunderland match was on there, cause I think he still gets sick to his stomach thinking about that one!!

Check out the Mills v Weaver 1981 EIWA 118 lb final.

A take note who was leading in theteam title at the beginning of the vid. Keep on eye out for the wrestlers records, Mills a mere 19-0 heading into the EIWA final. There some this year that had 19 wins by New Years.

Also during the narration they mention two of Mills wins during the year, 42-0 and 36-0.

Until Saturday night Lil Steiner was 2 rows in front of us and a couple of seats over. The entire row behind us and most of the row to our right were all friends of the Steiners from ND. We always assumed that Lil got different seats for the finals because her son was competing. We had a GREAT time with all of those folks. Where was Lil in relationship to your seats? You weren't one of those young guys we talked to so much during the tournament, were you?

That was 15 years ago, I have no idea? But I was a young guy at the time

23. Most of that group were all friends,relatics,HS coaches and such (mostly the same group that attended all the NCAA's). I think for the most part Lil just roamed around and sat where she ended up.
