Ever since Tom Ryan took over as head coach Ohio State has become a force to be reckoned with in the Big Ten. With all the HS talent already in Ohio, it looks like Ohio State will finally begin a new streak of dominance over Michigan in yet another sport.

Coach Jim Tressel was an honorary coach, he sat right there in the corner with Tom Ryan.

I am happy to see that Tannenbaum got the win. A win over Ohio State must be nice for a Michigan wrestler in his senior season.

Thanks, this looks like a great place to learn myself more on Collegiate Wrestling.

I can't say I'm as happy as you are to see Colt lose, but he's 15-1 as a Freshman and I wouldn't ask anymore of him.

And, I guess that it's all a matter of perspective. I am happy that a classy, hardworking senior who is going onto med school (at my favorite hospital!) had a good win over his rival school. And though it's great that Sponsellor had a good start, I could really care less that a freshman lost to someone like Tann.

What's up with Churella ? Obviously his non-appearance cost Michigan the dual.

Nice win for Watts. A win over Ohio State kinda makes his season.

Amen to that. If I had to pick someone I wanted my son emulate--not just as a wrestler, but as a student-athlete--it would be Tann. (And I happen to like Sponseller, even if he is a Buckeye, but I was pulling for Tann all the way).
