Central Michigan defeated Northern Illinois 41-3 tonight at Rose Arena.

Nice win for the Chips. Grayson and Carter stood out the most for me tonight. Carter barely worked up a sweat and pinned his opponent off a crab ride. Grayson looked really good, was pushing the action the entire time. Smith's fall came out of nowhere. D'Alie did a good job of fighting off his back while he was in a head & arm to avoid taking the fall at the end of the 2nd period to defeat DeShazer.

A stomping by the Chippewas. The only win coming from UNI's Castillo at 133.

Yeah, and there were only a few competitive matches. Sinnott vs. Burk at 174 and D'Alie vs. DeShazer. The 141 match was the most interesting with DeShazer getting hit with a technical violation for grabbing D'Alie's singlet, a bench warning for NIU and then DeShazer getting an unsportsmanlike call against him. He gave D'Alie two points and then nearly beat him off a scramble into a headlock. I don't know much about Bloomsburg on Sunday, but its nice to see DiDona fill in well for Michalak who's been battling the flu.
