Of course Ness is going to succeed. He wants to be a shop teacher and a wrestling coach.

Most likely to cause insomnia: Jake Varner (yes, even worse then DS...but only slightly...and also most HWT's.
Jacob Schlottke---Gone too soon, and the world is a little less bright because of it. RIP, brother.

One, two, Evans is coming for you...

Actually last year Askren was getting all of the love. DS was a pretty distant second from what I recall.

Well if you haven't learned to take everything we Minny Soda Gofer fans with a little bit of temperment by now, you never will.

You have to remember the kid went on a helluva win streak from the middle of his freshmen year through semi-finals at NCAA's last year. Who else would you want to be talking about at that time other than Askren, Schlatter and Konrad for steller guys at their weights?

Don't get all riled up, I'm just poking fun. Thus the smiley face in my post. I have nothing against Schlatter. I just find it amusing that people seem annoyed that Metcalf is getting so much attention, when from my vantage point from the "outlying areas" is that it's really no different than the Minny fans gushing about Schlatter and Ness.

I think your post helps prove my point - I mention Schlatter and you jump on defense

(by the way, I can't find fault with anyone for gushing about all 3 of those guys)

I think you mean narcolepsy, but I'll let it slide

Trust me, if you are an ISU fan, you don't want to blink during Varner's matches.

And if you don't like Varner's matches, at least they don't go into multiple OT's
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Man, if you think THAT'S riled up, you ain't seen anything yet. When your boy beats my boy, I will hand over the reins, until then I will stand in his corner.

Gofer, what gives? No humor today? You seem extra sensitive. I'm messing with you. I also don't recall ever saying Metcalf was "my boy." Yes, Iowa is one of my favorite teams, and I do enjoy watching Metcalf, but I have not been on here gushing about him.
