Falck is MUCH improved. his only loss was when he got pinned while up 8 points. He did beat Donahoe, as did Ness. I beleive this year, the playing field is more even than it ever has been.
Ness by 1.

133-Slaton-tough on top and more gas in the tank. 3-3
141-Rivera-I'm wanting to pick LeClere, but can't give Iowa both 33/41. 6-3
149- Metcalf-just can't see the goose being ready. 6-6
157-CP-don't like the pick, but hard to pick against. 9-6
165-Perry-More than likely bonus points. 9-10
174-Borschel-don't care if Dretsch has won before. 9-13
184-Keddy-too much go for a unhealthy Kish or whoever. 9-16
197-Complete toss up, so for the hell of it I'll throw Minny a bone. 12-16
HWT-Fields for the Iowa victory 19-12!

Slaton or Leclere could win. Slaton probably has a little better shot than Leclere both of these matches are crucial for both teams. Should be some very close matches. maybe 17-15. However gets bonus points should decide the match.

Can the coaches chose where to start the match if they both agree?

Now for Iowa, (whoever said it earlier), I don't see Iowa losing the first 5 weights. This should be an amazing dual.

125: #1 Jayson Ness v. #3 Charlie Falck
133: #2 Mack Reiter v. #4 Joey Slaton
141: #4 Manny Rivera v. #10 Dan LeClere
149: #1 Dustin Schlatter v. #3 Brent Metcalf
157: #7 CP Schlatter v. #16 Ryan Morningstar
165: NR Scott Glasser, or NR Tyler Safratowich v. #1 Mark Perry
174: #11 Gabe Dretsch v. #3 Jay Borschel
184: #5 Roger Kish v. #8 Phil Keddy
197: NR Justin Bronson v. NR Chad Beatty
285: NR Yura Malamura, or NR Ben Berhow v. #6 Matt Fields
One thing I've forgotten the various times I've worked this dual out both on here, both in my head, and on here, is that Dretsch has actually beaten Borschel already this year. Might be important to some, not important to others. Borschel has wrestled better since their match at UNO, but as we know just about anything can, and will likely happen during a Gabe Dretsch match.
If Kish isn't 100%, Dretsch stealing 174 would be massive for the Gophers.
One idea that could be fun for this thread, although I doubt it'd be stuck to. We've got about ten days until this dual goes off, maybe we could concentrate on one match up per day in this thread?

Grips, we're on the same page except for 84.
By the time this match rolls around, it will have been 7 weeks since Kish has had his arm raised in victory. That's a long time ago!

I do agree that it would be a huge lift for Dretch to beat Jay, and it is possible. I don't have a crystal ball but I don't see it happening. There's several ways this meet can be lost or won. It will be a good one.
