Kudos to Berhow for his effort as a frosh and his gradual (maybe too slow for my taste) improvement.
On TV Fields upper body was impressive, but I thought his legs did not.
I think we are always impressed by a Hvy who has a flat stomach, which has never been an indicator of Heavyweight success.

I may be wrong, but I believe Fields had a serious injury to his hip a year or two ago and a long recovery. Much of a heavyweight's power comes from the hips and thighs. His thighs and hips are getting stronger, and he's wrestling better this year. He is shooting more as well.

he had the knee injury and then the hip surgery in back to back years after. "Z threw him to the wolves." "And Konrad turned him out." As KMF would say.

Nothing better than a KMF reference...anyone got an over/under on his blood alcohol content last night after the results of the dual??

I guess I didn't lend enough to the knee injury during my blathering last night. I don't know why I forgot about that since I did remember to mention pre-match over the phone to my brother that I thought Fields could potentially have a panic attack during warmups seeing Konrads mug on the big screen (highlight video) in the place that the knee was wrecked.

In all sincerity, I gotta give it up to Fields for battling back the last two years through all his injuries.

I know he has beaten GG but it will be hard to beat him again, CP is not as consistent as GG--my opinion
