Tragic...Just aweful. I feel like I keep hearing about these types of van accidents happening with all kinds of college groups. Terrible to see it again.

You're right, 1-2 per year. The last was Minnesota Makato group headed to the SAE Formula Race Car Championships. Many schools have banned the use for long group trips.
