I'm as big of an Ohio State fan as there is on this board, but I can't go as far as Whippet and call for a victory. I won't be shocked if the Bucks pull off the upset, but I will be surprised.

My best case scenario with full scarlet and gray glasses is as follows:

    Falck dec Triggas 3-0 iowa
Humphrey dec Slaton 3-3......This will be a key match to set the tone for osu
    Jaggers dec Leclere 6-3 osu
    Metcalf dec Palmer 6-6
    Johnstone dec Morningstar 9-6 osu
    Perry dec Sponseller 9-9
    Borschel dec Picazo 12-9 Iowa
    Pucillo dec Keddy 12-12
    Weakley dec whoever 15-12 osu
    Bergman dec Fields 18-12 osu

Now being honest with myself totally as a wrestling fan and taking off those glasses

I don't see 125 as being as one sided as some, but I'd be surprised if Triggas pulls off the upset. One thing I like about him is that he's always attacking and working the other guys head and when he gets on top he's a beast. However, Falck is nasty and Triggas has been beaten by lesser wrestlers this year by some fairly lopsided scores. Humphrey is going to have to wrestle as well as he has all year to win...same for Jaggers because Leclere has really turned it on lately. 157 is a toss up because both guys have been inconsistent. Borschel is capable of getting the major, but Picazo is extremely strong and can be hard to score on. Weakley could lose just as easily as win. I love watching him wrestle, but he gives me a heart attack with some of the tosses he tries. Flip flop a few matches and throw in some bonus points here and there and the score could be anywhere between my score above to Jensen's score. It's about time OSU got that 32 year monkey off of their back, but I don't know that this is the year. I'll be there cheering them on because one thing this year has shown is that you never know.

    1. I couldn't remember his name, for some reason I thought it might be "Rick".

    2. Both of those young gentlemen, while good wrestlers and better then me, no doubt, are not the caliber of Brent Metcalf.

This is a lot closer to how I foresee the dual panning out with a few exceptions.

I feel that we will trade bonus points at 174 and 184. I also feel that it is incredibly unlikely that in the same dual, againest a powerful opponent, Weakley, Jaggers and Johnstone all come up with wins. I also believe that Palmer will be extremely tough wrestling at home where he has 4 state titles in the past. The best shot we have to win is if Big Berg gets us 6. Hopefully the dual kicks off at 125 or 157

Eric Kruger from Central Mich just beat Jaggers. I wouldn't be giving him the nod over anybody right now.
I wish I could kick Matt Dragon in the balls. In his Dragonballz.

That's why I'm not all that confident to pick him. He's got the ability, but I just haven't seen him dominate like I thought I would when he came out of high school. I'm just hoping the home crowd brings out the best in him. Then again, the upsets this year have been coming at the favorites house for some reason.
