He got robbed in the Vegas against Poeta. Both wrestlers were out of bounds for a second and the ref. gives the TD to Mike. Watch the match. Should have been 3-2 GG
Poeta is an excellent wrestler, no doubt, but I know GG win beat him in NCAA.
and the CP match, was like DS losing to Mike Roberts.

Dude they were both great matches and you cant count GG out but your man got beat twice fair and square stop trying to write it off. I've watched the poeta gg match more then once and there were nothing obvious in the way of bad calls. Maybe poetas foot slipped out for a second, so what? The refs cant see everything and thats a pretty weak arguement for why GG lost the match, he still got taken down fair and square its not like he thought poeta was out and quit wrestling.
As for comparing cp to roberts... well thats just borderline trolling. I'm not saying roberts doesnt have potential but C.P. is and has been one of the top guys at the weight for a long time. C.P. has about twice as many quality wins to his credit as gregor does and he's just as much if not more of a threat to win a title this year.

Honestly the only way GG is taking 157 is if Poeta, Henning and CP don't show up at nationals. He's a talented guy but I believe he has yet to beat a quality Big 10 157lber.
The NCAA selection committee just screwed the Gophers on seeding.

GG was not undefeated going into NCAA last year... either way he will be on that awards stand come March, it just depends on how he shows up to wrestle.
Champions are made while no one is watching.
