"ISR: "The basic idea is an iterative one. Begin with all teams set to an even rating -- 100 in this case. Then, for each game played, give each team the value of their opponent's rating plus or minus a factor for winning or losing the game -- 25 in this case. Total all of a team's results, divide by the number of games played, and that's the end of a cycle. Then use those numbers as the start of the next cycle until you get the same results for each team for two consecutive cycles."
What the F does that have to do with whether or not a team has come prepared to wrestle or how much time off a team has had or whether or not a team just wrestled the #3 team in the nation before squaring off against the #1 team in the nation 2 hours later?
I am not sure our sport can be ranked in this way.

Boyd Nation, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
You do the math..... I'll do the alfredo!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Exactly. Amen and Gesundheit.

I actually do understand the method used to determine the ISR rankings, and it is indeed completely objective, but dammit, I want to use my gut feeling for the rankings!!

Jeez, ISU2008 and goferphan, you guys are harsh...it's a darned good thing Boyd Nation doesn't read these forums, I guess!
