He doesn't even have to be positive, just have an opinion or take a stand.

    Naw!!!

I'm hoping the something positive is him disappearing from the forum entirely.
The NCAA selection committee just screwed the Gophers on seeding.

I would normally say that statistics aren't everything but when you factor in that in five of those non pin, non major matches Ness wrestled Fanthorpe, Mustari, Forfeit, inj default, and Donahoe I am not sure where your argument comes from. Consequently the forfeit was to Nebraska when Donahoe was not able to go 100%.
It's fairly simple. Escobedo was ranked above Ness. He holds the last win in the rivalry. It's not like he's sitting out. If Ness had pinned Donahoe or if there wasn't some controversy surrounding the bout, maybe I could see it. Too many things. They'll meet up later this year anyways, though.

Ness didn't wrestle Fanthorpe. He majored Kist.

I just don't subscribe to that type of thinking...

Ness did beat number #1 and as #2 had yet to defeat #1 or #3 then #2 sits pat as #1 and #3 change places.

Sorry ISU, you are correct...but then again, Ness did defeat Fanthorpe a couple of times last year. LOL

At least there will be a definitive answer this year with Ness's seed (assuming they both keep winning) after the Gardner debacle last year. Escobedo is a tough hombre, Ness is a pinning machine, it will be a good match. I might have to head up to Minneapolis this year, going to be some fun matches at BigX.

It will be interesting to see how the 1, 2, 3 and 4 seeds play out. Semi's at Nationals are a bitch. Could be that all four wrestlers deserve to be in the finals but match-ups are the key. (See Simmons)

Aww, you want me to leave. How sweet of you! You can't even argue a point, you just name call and bicker. At least come up with something better than what a 5-year old can come up with.
I will smash your face into a car windshield and then take your mother, Dorothy Mantooth, out to a nice seafood dinner and never call her again!

Tell me about it, this morning, I woke up and I shit a squirrel, but what I can't get is the damn thing is still alive. So now, I've got a shit covered squirrel running around my office and I don't know what to name it.
