Sure is how about how great Falck, Slaton, LeClere, Perry, Borschel, Keddy, Fields have been wrestling even Morningstar seems to be coming around? I was just trying to start a little discussion and busting your balls a little | We'll see how great Falck wrestles when Ness majors him again. As for the rest of those guys I gotta agree they are wrestling as well as some of the MN guys are wrestling poorly. Wierd how the loss of just one guy from last year can change the dynamics of a team so much.
Not making excuses for my boys but I think of the the differences (real or imagined) are injuries so far. We haven't had Eidenschink all year at 197 (not that he's great but a huge upgrade over what we currently have), DS is hurting, Glasser and now it looks like Saf at 165 as well are hurt and who knows what is wrong with Kish. The first five have done what's expected for the most part but the next 3 haven't performed to expectations and the last two are looking a bit like a lost cause although Malamura looked much better at Heavy than he ever did at 197.
As for my balls, I'm kinda worried you were thinking about them

This is the funniest post I've read in a long time. I totally agree with you.

J Rob and Brands have their guys ready to go balls to the wall for 7 minutes (40 minutes for that matter).
Fatigue sets in on the mind before the body. Sometimes, you gas because your mind says "i'm tired".
I think Dustin will be ready to wrestle a calculated match, and Metcalf will be ready to move forward and look for points. 2 different styles that should be fun to watch. I know I liked watching Schlatter more when people went out there to score on him.

It could certainly affect his conditioning but only if he is off the mat for more than two weeks in my opinion. It is amazing how LITTLE information is out there on injuries in wrestlilng. In pro football we would have an x-ray on ESPN showing the exact muscle in his hammy and five doctors giving there opinions on how long it would take to heal.

Malamura was in on a head inside single, he had it picked up, the Iowa guy (I don't remember his name) was hopping all around on one foot, the entire Minnesota bench yelling for Malamura just to step back, run the pipe and dump him for the TD. Does Malamura do it?
No. Malamura picks him up by one leg, slams him to the mat, gets into a scramble, almost gives up a TD himself, before finally coming out on top. Not a pretty site.
