if he keeps wrestling like he has. He gassed horribly against Tannenbaum, walked back to the center unbelievably slowly, and took questionable injury time. I don't know if it's his weight or what, but he did not look good all weekend.

If Mike Allen was reffing the Tannenbaum match, Perry would have had at least another stalling point.

Give the kid a break...he's sucking weight but people have to realize that's four matches in two days and Perry beat #4 Marable, #1 in Tannenbaum and #3 Lewnes. What else do you want from the kid?

He will get #8 in the finals. Tell me anyone else who has had a better tournament than Perry. You all know me and know I am not a big Iowa fan but this sounds a little like piling on to me.

Great point Gofer. Not to mention how he has shown up for NCAA's the past couple years?

Freshman year: He beat Troy Letters. At the time, I thought Letters was going to walk through the tourney.

Sophomore year: He won the most Falls at the tourney as he placed third behind Askren and Herbert. All three would win NCAA titles the next year.

Junior year: Beat hendricks. Bottom line.

I don't think Perry showing up at the NCAA tourney is the problem.

This is not the Perry that was at NCAAs last year. But I do have to give him credit, he beat his #1 challenger, and all he did was win this weekend.

yeah, but the Perry at NCAAs last year was not the same Perry we were seeing around this time last year either. Like Grips said, he steps it up at NCAAs.

Looked like he was about to throw his breakfast in the trash can this morning.

With the weight cutting problems and the bum knee, I can understand why he looked like he did. I wasn't trying to hate, I think it's just the 7th place in me talking.
