Posted on the Guillotine website: Obviously these are how the MN wrestlers did.

Not the toughest competion, but it was interesting to see MN and Iowa have some upperweights face eachother. And the Berhow/Nord debate got even more murky!

Heavyweights are still looking a little shaky, nice to see Sanders, Sitch, and Yohn still performing well.

Is a little shaky a bit of an understatement. Aren't UW-Whitewater & UW-LaCrosse DIII teams? I have never heard of Blake Rassing from Iowa.

These two were hyped by Gopher fans as the next big thing for Minny Heavyweights.

Raising is a walk-on at Iowa he is making huge improvement. He is a big heavyweight cuts to make hwt. One time state champ got a late start wrestling He didn't start until HS I believe. Coach Brands found a diamond in the rough with Blake. He is our 3rd string heavy weight.

Sorry, but our Heavy's can't be losing to Blake Rassing from Iowa, John Schmidt from UW-Whitewater and Hakim Birke from UW-LaCrosse...if thats the case then we need to go out and get us some stop gaps at heavy through the JUCO ranks...

you can give all the excuses in the world you can't be losing those matches...

While I was excited early by Nord's physical upside and Berhow's early performances in duals (Iowa State dual), I think the reality is that we will see a temporary down time.

But prepare yourself for Atticus Disney (aka The greatest freakin' name to come around in quite some time)! He must be given a nickname or something.

Could any of Minnesota's other 197-pounders beat Lofthouse? Does anyone know how Yohn does in the room against those guys at 197? Not that you would want to see him burn a red-shirt at this point, but you have to wonder if Minnesota's best option at 197 is a true freshman 184 pounder. Where has Eidenschink been? Is he still hurt?

"Finch" or "Fun Park"

Even still, if we get Disney we are going to redshirt him. I can tell you this, if one of the two of the existing heavies don't improve by next year one of them is going to be walking if not both.
