I know its tough for all of us Midwestern fans, but Penn State is now #1. Well, at least until next week ...

Okie State will jump up to #3 but I can see Iowa State getting #1 back and Minny getting #2 back...Penn State could bust into Top 3 also...who knows.

no way... penn state is the clear cut #1 and okie state is the obvious #2. Minny gets 3rd then iowa then ISU

Okie State will have a hard time climbing past five teams it has not beaten...if Penn State was behind ISU and Minny before this weekend but did not beat either of them and ISU and Minny didn't lose, then how can you justify them now all of a sudden jumping past those teams...?

I could be wrong but I find the people that vote on this to be a bit more pragmatic and a little bit more realistic about these types of things...

That being said, I guess it wouldn't bother me to see those two teams go up to #1 and #2 but I can assure you that both of them will lose again this year...

I can't say that about Iowa, ISU or Minny as one of those teams could heat up and then not lose again.

Because they are undefeated and beat the team that just knocked off the #1 team, so your arguement is for what, #1 Minnesota, #2 Iowa #3 ISU??

I don't know, I am just playing devil's advocate a little bit...I think you are looking at this too much like BCS where because Okie State beats Iowa, then they all of a sudden pull Penn State up with them through the rest of the teams.

I can see where Penn State goes to #1 and Okie State goes to #2 but I also think that this will allow the votes to look again at all of the teams and almost start over again based on what they see.

We will wait and see.

I think I have two going at Virginia Duals and 7 going at National Duals as well.

There will be a hell of alot of wins AND losses here as these teams are the best of the best. Lots of good competition and lots of teams subbing other wrestlers in the first and second rounds of the tournament if they feel like they can be stronger in the later rounds.

yeah, once brackets come out I'll get a better idea. THe loss of rader of course hurts my team big time... at least ettelsons going though right? I would assume since UNI is hosting the duals that they participate as well :P
