Default Iowa v. Oklahoma State Predictions/Results

For everything thats springing up about Iowa v. Minnesota, this meet is this Saturday, with Iowa favored to win it for the first time in quite a few years.

No Espo and no Mocco. Yeah, Ok State is in deep this year.

Unless their ranking has gotten into their heads, my view is that Iowa is going to beat OSU and there will be little doubt in the end. I think Minnesota will be the tougher out, but I'm calling Iowa on that one too.

Default Iowa VS Oklahoma State Predictions

    Let's see some.

125 Falck vs Ashmore. Falck 3-0 Iowa

133 Slaton vs Scott. Slaton can't bet against him. 6-0 Iowa

141 LeClere vs Morgan. Morgan not sure Dan will beat him 6-3 Iowa

149 Metcalf Vs Fuentes. Metcalf, Metcalf, Metcalf tech fall 11-3 Iowa

157 Morningstar vs McSpadden. Morningstar (home crowd give him a lift) 14-3

165 Perry vs Diffenbach Perry major (see Reader) 18-3 Iowa

174 Borschel Vs Mason. Mason tight match up 18-6 Iowa

    184 Keddy Vs Hill . Keddy 21-6

197 Loera vs Foster. Foster 21-9 Iowa

Hwt Fields vs Rosholt . Rosholt 21-12 (Fields needs to show me something. He is not wrestling to win, just to not get beat)

125: Falck dec Ashmore 3-0 Iowa
    133: Scott dec Slaton 3-3
141: Morgan dec Leclere 6-3 Oklahoma State
149: Metcalf maj Fuentes 7-6 Iowa
157: Morningstar dec McSpadden 10-6 Iowa
165: Perry maj Dieffenbach 14-6 Iowa
174: Mason dec Borschel 14-9 Iowa
184: Keddy dec Hill 17-9 Iowa
197: Foster dec Loera 17-12 Iowa
285: Fields dec Rosholt 20-12 Iowa

Should be an interesting match up. It'll be big tests for Slaton, Leclere, and Borschel as they'll be wrestling OK State's best three guys. I think Slaton and Borschel might be a touch better than Scott, and Mason on the feet, but I think experience wins out, and the Cowboys win them on the mat. I think Morgan just beats Leclere.

If Iowa sticks Beatty in at 184, and bumps Keddy to 197 I think they might be able to go 6-0 at those weights rather than a 3-3 split.

Jensens LOVES to move Keddy to 197 without his permission.

I know. Tom has said that Keddy is our 184 pounder period.
