Also a real nice win for him over Charles Griffin. I know he just got cement mixed a few weeks back by Mendes but those who were questioning who Manny had beaten lately can certainly look at this win and say that was an AA quality opponent.

Absolutely he looked great if he doesnt AA this year I'd be shocked
I thought him tfing caramancia was pretty impressive also, wasnt he ranked like 7th or something? |

there are days when rivera is so active on his feet and quick that I don't think he can be beat...he also can get himself back points many different ways, throws, turns, tilts...
guys that give him distance on his feet really play into his hands...guys that tie him up (mendes) give him more trouble...

Manny beat Griffin last year too. As mentioned though, I think he was most impressive when he dismantled top 12'ish right now Caramanica.
His match against Mendes, I don't want to call it a catch, because it wasn't. Thats a move Mendes has, he set it up, and he hit it much like Caldwell did to Metcalf.
Trusty can hate all he wants, he jumped on the Manny bandwagon last year after he wore out, and beat Simmons, when he tries to do it this year, we just won't let him.  |

Sorry, never been on that dudes wagon. I saw him wrestle once against Hashimoto and that's all I needed to see to make my judgement. |
