Wilkes Open is still a decent tourney. You got some Penn State guys, some Rutgers guys, some Bloomsburg guys, some Drexel guys, some Maryland guys, and some Oklahoma guys.

Then you got 2nd ranked Nassau Junior college, 5th ranked DII Pitt-Johnstown and 14th ranked DIII York college. Then there are other decent wrestlers. Not a bad tourney to win.

Come on! Mytych, Haas, Pataky, and Lapotsky are all top 20 DI caliber wrestlers. Besides, there are some real good Junior college, DII and DIII wrestlers that could make DI top 20. Its a good tourney for any top 20 DI college wrestlers.

Isn't this the tournament that you beat Cummins at when he was a freshman?

Yeah I beat Cummins at this tourney and a few other guys and then I lost to Testa and Lininger.

I took 4th there at 197 the year before as well. Back then it had at least 3 or 4 NCAA DI qualifiers at each weight.

Those are like the 5 guys I recognized haha. I have a lot of respect for myctech too seeing as he's on my fantasy team. Those guys are all top 20 D1 guys I'll give you that, but 5 top 20 guys over 10 weights is not exactly stellar!

Not trying to badmouth the tournament or anything I guess its more of a reflection of my lack of knoweldge of wrestling outside of the top D1 teams then it is anything else.

To be honest I've never though much of fisk or haas and Im not really surprised... I gave you that they were top 20 because honestly outside of about 25 teams or so most D1 wrestling schools arent very strong and Im sure there are plenty that have never had an AA.

The bracket link isnt working for me for some reason.

Did Myctech lose? Now THAT would surprise me.
