Rumor has it he didn't hurt his shoulder, rather he wasn't going to class and was in danger of losing his elibility. Now they can medical redshirt him and hope that Ness moves up next year.

I love the cement mixer. Although it is a Kid wrestler move, that shouldn't even work against high school kids. It's fun to watch though, and even more fun to throw! But you gotta get some one sleeping and stand up in a front headlock.

I really like Manny Rivera, but he and the coaching staff obviously didn't do their homework on this one. Mendes has been one of the most successful wrestlers with the cement mixer in the past 5 years or so.

Mendes got Manny to kind of put himself in that position...he was playing headslap and they were both laying heavy on the head for the first minute or so...Mendes let Manny feel comfortable in that Manny thought he was dictating the match...then Mendes put his arms and weight on Manny and then just locked it up....

You could tell when Mendes starting squeezing the front head that Manny thought he might be in trouble...

Pretty much, Mendes did a nice job baiting him. Manny go all the way down to his knees when he headsnaps guys a lot of the times, Mendes got him to do that once, jumped right to the mixer, and banged him with it.
