125: Kist v. Falck 133: Fanthorpe v. Slaton 141: Gallick v. Leclere 149: Mueller v. Metcalf 157: Sanderson v. Morningstar 165: Reader v. Perry 174: Scott v. Borschel 184: Varner v. Beatty 197: Bertolino v. Keddy 285: Zabriskie v. Fields I think Iowa bumping Keddy to 197 and sticking Beatty in at 184 gives them the best shot to win. Neither guy will beat Varner, but I think Keddy matches up better with Bertolino than whoever Iowa's other guy could be at 197 |

Falck Slaton Gallick Metcalf Sanderson Perry Borschel Varner Bertolino Fields Iowa upsets the Clones 18-14 *If no Perry, then Clones take it. BTW- I think the college football craziness is going to spill over into wrestling this year! Everyone is going to have a couple losses come March. Last edited by Trusty; 12-04-2007 at 03:41 PM. |

125 Falck md Kist (maybe keep it to a dec) 4-0 IA 133 Fanthorpe dec Slaton 4-3 IA 141 Gallick dec LeClere (toss-up, give it to the home team) 6-4 ISU 149 Metcalf md Mueller (Metcalf will be more offensive than Schlatter) 8-6 IA 157 Sanderson dec Morningstar 9-8 ISU 165 Perry dec Reader (possible upset?) 11-9 IA 174 Borschel md Scott (Scott looked bad at Minn but Dretsch couldn't finish) 15-9 IA 184 Varner dec Beatty 15-12 IA 197 Bertolino dec Keddy 15-15 285 Zabriskie dec Fields (see 141) 18-15 ISU Falck, Metcalf, and Borschel definitely have chances to get majors but it will be huge if they don't, which will give some leeway at 141 or 285. I think Varner and Bert could major but they need to find the offense. Zabriskie can beat Fields but he has to wrestle better than he did Sunday. Could be as bad as 21-12 IA if they get the majors and win the toss-ups or good as 20-12 ISU if we get some majors and avoid giving them up.
