Interesting article about MN wrestling on ESPN.

Thanks for posting the article. I thought this bit was very interesting:

Robinson's ideas and influence have helped the sport land a deal with CSTV, which will launch the first regular national cable wrestling highlight show in January.

I hadn't heard anything about this before -- that could be a great way to get a chance to actually get a look at wrestlers from other conferences we don't normally get to see.

I too was unaware of this and it also addresses my earlier concerns re: CSTV. This is yet another example of J helping the sport grow through his immeasurable drive and tenacity. Thank you indeed!

First - take note of the author - Andy Hamilton of the Iowa City Press Citizen. There's a growing group of wrestling writers (Jason Bryant, Mark Palmer, Stephen Stonebraker and Andy that are putting out great articles about the sport. Second - Gable and J are the most visible of the sport's promoters - and J is the more aggressive, but, there are others: John Smith, Ken Chertow, Mike Duroe; that aren't quite as visible because their efforts are more "behind-the-scenes".

Bottom line - Thank you, J Robinson!

Yes indeed. Interesting article, love to see that CSTV highlight show, BUT I don't get CSTV.
