Hey, if it helps Minnesota win the match...

    174: Dretsch MD scott/artist
I personally have never seen either of these two wrestle nor heard of them before but every ISU fan I have heard from says they are just god aweful.
This ISU fan will tell you otherwise. Scott is very solid. From early results I'd say Pursel is too.

What is with all the love for Fanthorpe and Sanderson?
Fanthorpe missed AA last year at 125, Reiter is 2x AA and a Sneior. There is a strong possibility for a pin here.

Has Sanderson any quality wins this year? Yes, he has a famous brother, but I do not think he has done anything to compare to CP.
Minny did not give any bonus points up to Missouri at 197 last year when Maskren was pinning everybody. I think Eidenshink can keep this to a decision.

I think Minny runs away with this

Fanthorpe is a gut feeling for me, that's all.

Fanthorpe and Sanderson both nearly missed AA last year as RS freshmen. They were both the real deal last year, and some improvement this year is assumed. Reiter is favored but the most likely outcome is a decision, not a major, not a tech, not a fall. Also, Fanthorpe could win.

Sanderson wrestled Dustin Schlatter at 149 twice last year, losing the first 9-2, and the second 3-1.

    That's what I was wondering...thought I was seeing things.

Thats why I actually love the "prediction threads". If everyone actually THOUGHT Minny was going to win this match, it wouldn't be any fun. I compare it to a few years ago when Minny was starting to push Okie State for the Top Spot...I like to see the young Cyclones and their fans getting cocky.

Ultimately I think its going to go Minny's way as they are a senior dominated line-up at home. That won't bode well for ISU.

125 Ness v Kist Major or better, call it 4-0 Minny
133 Reitver v Fanthorpe Dec for Reiter, 7-0 Minny
141 Rivera v Gallick Dec. for Manny, 10-0 Minny
149 Schlatter v Mueller, Maj for Minny, 14-0 Minny
157 Schlatter v Sanderson, Dec. for Minny, 17-0 Minny
165 Glasser v Reader, Dec. for ISU, 17-3
    174 Dretsch v Artist/Scoot Maj for Minny 21-3
184 Kish v Varner, Dec for Varner 21-7
    197 Bronson v Bertolino M Dec. for ISU 21-11
Hwt Berhow v Zabriskie Major for Z, 21-15...

If the first five matches go close to this way for Minny, its over. ISU has to catch a break in one of these matches and then hope that Reader and Varner win up top.

Thats okay, I know you were just trying to assemble an all-star team against Minny and even then, you are going to be hard pressed to win!
