I wasn't sure. I thought he wrestled in at least one dual last year, but it could have been the southern scuffle which would not have him pulled out of redshirt.

Quick questions: I understand that this is Nord's freshman year and that he will grow through out the year, but what are his strengths? Is he still trying to wrestle HWT in college like he did in HS?

He must have looked good at the Bison Open, but at the K-B Open he tried to take outside single shots on Fields. He would get his head stuffed and allow the go behind to happen.

On a positive: He kept trying. If he keeps this up he will improve.

Any status on McPhail's knee? He had a good Bison open @ 197 and then got hurt if I am not mistaken...

I hadn't heard anything...I think McPhail was making a case for taking over @ 197 up until then...

scuffle also you have to wrestle more then 20 % of your matches I think or something like that.

The sad thing is that Nord should of dominated both HWts, especially Hopkins. He ahd plenty of opportunities, and just looked lost when they presented themselves. I do not know what was going on in his head. Berhow may be nursing a nagging injury. Either way someone needs to step up, and soon.

Nord lost 10- 6 to Fields at the Kaufman, and then has this crap. Consistency is the trick I think.
