Looks like Metcalf will have to take his lumps as well after he has been secretely training with Gable and Brands.

i can say this, I would NOT want to be his next opponent...

I see this as (sadly) going another direction. I suspect Metcalf will now calm down his style and become another aggressive, but not really committing to anything, type wrestler. Which is.... also sadly..... the best technical and tactical option to go with.
Bascially you have to have freak of nature ability, and balls, to wrestle wide open these days. In collegiate there have only been a couple of wrestlers to pull it off. Both who have (or had to) settled down at the next level. And at that level (international) B Satiev is the only one recently who could be that aggressive and win. And even he got tactically beaten once in a big event (the Olympics) by a guy who had no business beating him.... but did so anyways.
I am 49, bald, ugly, and don't own a single cool thing. Kids like me though.
Come on, what about JH?

one match does not make a career. This early in the season and career you learn from it and move on. Lincoln Mac lost his first match at Carver he didn't change his style until later after the concussions. Metcalf will be aggressive.
Metcalf will be fine. Jensens nailed it when he said that he can leave the Sanderson comparisons in the rear view mirror early.
